Our Story

Missy’s Family Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant proudly serving the Kokomo community.

For Jose and Missy, opening a restaurant was a dream fueled by a love for good food, family, and community. When Jose learned that a restaurant on Buckeye Street was for sale, they decided to take a chance and follow that dream. With hard work, dedication, and a lot of faith, Missy’s Family Restaurant opened its doors, serving homemade breakfast and lunch to the Kokomo community.

Over the years, the support of our customers helped us grow. We expanded our hours to include dinner on Thursdays and Fridays, and we were honored to be voted “Best Breakfast in Town” five different years by the Kokomo Tribune.

In 2024, we reached another exciting milestone. After outgrowing our original location, we moved to a larger home at Webster Plaza, near Webster Street and Alto Road. At our new location, we were honored once again by the Kokomo Tribune, receiving the award for “Best Hometown Cooking.”

What started as a dream has grown into a place where families and friends can gather around the table and enjoy a homemade meal.
